Skin NTDs are a subgroup of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) presenting skin manifestations. The World Health Organization (WHO) is supporting the development of a mobile application, SkinNTDs App, to support the front-line health workers in the diagnostic of skin NTDs. The question remains on how to ensure its adoption and effectiveness in Skin NTDs diagnostic. This research aims to explore how the users in real settings perceive the app to inform its further development, how it can be promoted at international scale and how its effectiveness can be assessed.
